Founder & Lead Researcher
AI Security Researcher & Red Teamer
I'm Shehan Nilukshan, an ethical AI security researcher and the founder of AI RedCell — Sri Lanka's first AI red teaming and vulnerability research agency. My journey into AI security began with a simple question: "How safe are the AI systems we trust with our data?"
What I discovered was concerning. Many AI systems, including those powering chatbots, virtual assistants, and enterprise tools, had vulnerabilities that could be exploited. This realization drove me to dedicate my career to finding and fixing these weaknesses before malicious actors could exploit them.
"I believe in making AI security knowledge accessible to everyone. That's why AI RedCell offers free courses and open-source tools — because a safer AI ecosystem benefits us all."
Through AI RedCell, I combine rigorous security testing with a commitment to education. We don't just find vulnerabilities — we teach others how to build more secure AI systems from the ground up.
To protect AI systems worldwide through ethical security research, proactive vulnerability discovery, and comprehensive red teaming. We work to find weaknesses before attackers do, making AI safer for everyone.
We believe AI security knowledge should be accessible to all. Through free courses, open-source tools, and transparent research, we're building the next generation of AI security professionals.
Every test we conduct follows strict ethical guidelines. We practice responsible disclosure, respect privacy, and ensure our research benefits the AI community rather than enabling harm.
From Sri Lanka to the world, we're committed to making AI security a global priority. We work with organizations across industries to strengthen their AI defenses and build more resilient systems.
